I received a very similar looking appointment letter just last week. I was given the name of a lawyer to help me require the necessary visa for me and my wife. I contacted him and promptly received an e-mail back with the answers on my questions and the message that the papers would be processed in 10 days if I send him his fee of 970 Pounds. The money had to be transferred to his secretary at Money Gram or Western Union. The lawyer had an gmail.com account. The job offer was for a position as Sr. Petroleum Engineer, however the official Appointment Letter (signed by the GM of Conoco/Phillips) was for a position of Electrical Engineer. After I pointed out the mitake I received another Appointment Letter with the correct function. Below
